Scott "Tooter" A. Devlin

Scott A. Devlin “Tooter”, age 66, of Michigan, ND, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home.

Scott Anthony Devlin was born June 18, 1953 in Northwood, ND, to Jack and Betty (Hillesland) Devlin.  He graduated from Michigan High School in 1971.  After 22 years of service, he retired from the US Postal Service in 2015.  Tooter’s passions were music and reading.  He loved all music and enjoyed playing his guitar whenever possible.  When he wasn’t doing that, you could find him reading a new book.

Tooter is survived by his brothers, Mike Devlin (Jayne) of Polson, MT, Tim Devlin (Arliss) of Michigan, ND, and Ben Devlin of Grand Forks, ND; nieces, Courtney Caron, Maggie Marquart, and Cassie Tweed; nephews, Jeremy Devlin, Jeff Devlin, Tim Devlin, and Cody Devlin; as well as many great-nieces and nephews and friends.

Tooter was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Betty Devlin.

There will be a visitation at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota, ND, on Friday, December 13, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Michigan Ambulance and Fire Department.
