Raydene Winnegge Obituary

Raydene Winnegge, age 94, resident of Lakota, ND, died Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Lakota.

Raydene Mary Leigh Brighton was born April 18, 1928 in England, where she was raised and educated. Raydene was a war bride, as she met Ernest W. Winnegge in England during World War II. They were married on June 6, 1945 in Plymouth, England. The couple moved to Lakota, ND. Raydene worked for many years at the State Bank of Lakota until her retirement. Ernest died January 19, 2000. She continued living in her home until she moved to the Good Samaritan Society in June of 2017.

Raydene is survived by her daughter, Moira (Ron) Williamson of Rome, NY; 3 grandchildren; 5 great granddaughters; 1 great grandson; as well as nieces & nephews.

Raydene’s burial will be private at the Lakota Cemetery, Lakota, ND.
