Patricia "Pat" A. Anderson

Patricia A. Anderson, age 77, resident of Fargo, ND, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Patricia “Pat” Ann Kleven was born May 26, 1943, the daughter of Elmer and Madelyn (Peterson) Kleven and grew up in Lakota, ND.  She was confirmed at the Lakota Lutheran Church and graduated from Lakota High School in 1961.  On November 16, 1963, she married Neil Anderson and they went on to raise their family in Casselton, ND for many years.  In 1997, Pat and Neil moved back Lakota to be closer to family.

Pat worked many jobs throughout her life, but her favorite was running a daycare in their home for many years.  She loved and cared for her daycare children as if they were her own.  Pat was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved her family very much and would do anything for them, especially her grandchildren.  “Grandma” Pat was a fixture at many of the grandkid events and loved playing games and spending time with them all.  There wasn’t a time when she wasn’t challenging someone to a board game and rarely let them win on purpose.  “Grandma” Pat will be missed by everyone.

Pat is survived by her sons, Scott (Amy) Anderson of Fargo, ND and Kevin (Alyssa) Anderson of West Fargo, ND; a daughter, Stacy (Rob) Kupfer of Underwood, MN; grandchildren, Hayden (Andrea) Anderson, Drew (Deanna) Anderson, Sadie Anderson, Morgan and Dawson Anderson, Joey and Rylan Kupfer; and her sister, Cheri (Ray) Miller of Lakota, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Anderson; parents, Elmer and Madelyn Kleven; sister, Karen Sundeen; and brother, Allen Kleven.

The funeral service will be held at the Lakota Lutheran Church, Lakota, ND, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  The use of face masks will be required.  Interment will be in the Hoff Cemetery, rural Brocket, ND.  Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the funeral service.
