Megan A. Locken

Megan A. Locken, age 29, resident of Devils Lake, ND, formerly of Aneta, ND, died Friday, December 10, 2021 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Megan Ann Locken was born July 31, 1992 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Eugene and Barbara (Wilcox) Locken.  She was baptized and confirmed at Sundahl Lutheran Church in Aneta.  She attended Dakota Prairie School, graduating in 2010.  She then attended Valley City State College for a year.  At that time is when she began working for Walmart at Devils Lake in the maintenance department, where she worked until the time of her death.  She enjoyed writing, reading, watching her favorite TV shows, and movies.

Megan will be deeply missed by her parents, Eugene & Barbara Locken of Aneta; a sister, Sara (Daniel) Corby of Lakota, ND; a brother, David (Kylah) Locken of Fessenden, ND; 2 nephews, Riley & Graham Corby; 1 niece, Aubrey Corby; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; and her best friends, Kelly Larson and Tiffany Smaage.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward & Eleanor Wilcox and Edwin & Jean Locken; and 1 aunt, Mary Pat Wilcox.

The Memorial Service for Megan will be held at Sundahl Lutheran Church of Aneta, ND, on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior to the service.  There will also be a fellowship gathering at the church on Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
