Glenna Dion Obituary

Glenna M. Dion, age 78, resident of Grand Forks, ND, formerly of Lakota, ND, died Friday, March 4, 2022 at Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Glenna Mae Evenson was born February 19, 1944 in Park River, ND, the daughter of Magne and Borghild (Odden) Evenson. After moving to Lakota at an early age, she was raised and educated there, graduating Lakota High School in 1962. She then attended Mayville State College. Glenna married Roy Dion on June 27, 1970. She was a legal secretary in Lakota for many years before moving to Grand Forks in 1995. She moved to Valley Senior Living in 2018.

Glenna is survived by her husband, Roy Dion of Grand Forks; 2 sons, Wayne of Grand Forks and Michael of West Fargo, ND; 1 granddaughter; 1 brother, Merle (Alice) Evenson of Grand Forks; 2 sisters, Dolores (Robert) Gerth of McKinney, TX and Dorothy Rollefstad of Park River, ND; and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Russell, Rodney, and Donald in infancy; and 2 sisters, Janice Pitcher and Gladys Goodoien.

Services for Glenna will be private, with burial in the Lakota Cemetery.
