Glady H. Roth

Glady H. Roth, age 68, resident of Lawton, ND, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 13, 2021.

Glady was born June 12, 1953 in Carrington, ND, the first born of Elmer and Virginia (Prusia) Roth.  She attended school at Cathay, ND, and also Lake Region Junior College in Devils Lake, where she obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing degree.  Glady was a valued employee of Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake from the fall of 1971 until September 18, 2020, when she retired.  She was also caretaker for Safehouse.  Glady’s hobbies included the love for outdoors, going for long walks, and an avid photographer.  She loved to garden and raised beautiful flowers & large pumpkins.  She had a soft spot for her beloved cats, bowling, and watching football.

She leaves behind a nephew, Timothy Irl Davenport and his wife, Jen; and their children, Adien and Willow Davenport; several cousins and her co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Candace Ann Roth and Fern & her husband Clint Davenport.

The Memorial Service for Glady will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the TLC-ND Animal Shelter, 307-5th Avenue NE, Devils Lake, ND 58301.
