Brian A. Estvold

Brian A. Estvold, age 61, formerly of Lakota, ND, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Moorhead, MN.

Brian Arthur Estvold was born December 1, 1959 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Kenneth and Esther (Knutson) Estvold.  He was raised on the family farm in Rubin Township of Nelson County, ND.  He was educated in Lakota, where he graduated high school in 1979.  He then worked road construction and also farmed for a short time.  Brian also worked for a beekeeper in Texas, then spent a few years working for custom harvesters.  He lived most of his life in the Fargo-Moorhead area, where he held various jobs throughout the years.

Brian is survived by his mother, Esther Estvold of Lakota, ND; 2 brothers, Terry (Denise) Estvold of Devils Lake, ND and Jay (Margaret) Estvold of Lakota, ND; 2 sisters, Renae (Wally) Grossman of Lakeville, MN and Lori (James) LeBrasseur of Alexandria, MN; nephews, Patrick Estvold and Eric LeBrasseur; nieces, Meghan Estvold, Tara Pham, Sydney Grossman, Emily Flury, Kate LeBrasseur, and Ann Estvold; great-nephews, Ryan, Jake, Evan, and Zane Estvold; great-nieces, Brooke Estvold and Zoe Pham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Estvold.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota, ND, on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.  The service will be livestreamed at the Lakota Lutheran Church Facebook Page.  Burial will follow in the Lakota Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
