Bennett J. “Ben” Devlin, age 59, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Bennett Jon Devlin was born July 19, 1961 in Grand Forks, ND, to Jack and Betty (Hillesland) Devlin. He graduated from Michigan High School in 1979. He then attended NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND, where he received his diesel mechanic degree. At the time of his death, Ben worked for the Grand Forks City Bus as a mechanic. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time at Judy’s Tavern with friends.

Ben is survived by his brothers, Mike Devlin (Jayne) of Polson, MT and Tim Devlin (Arliss) of Michigan, ND; nieces, Courtney Caron, Maggie Marquart, and Cassie Tweed; nephews, Jeremy Devlin, Jeff Devlin, Tim Devlin, and Cody Devlin; as well as many great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Betty Devlin; and brother, Tooter.

A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family at the Michigan Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Michigan Ambulance and Fire Department or the Michigan Cemetery.
