Dominic Anthony Westerfield

June 28, 1978 – September 2, 2018

Dominic was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 28, 1978 to Keith A. and Cynthia L. Westerfield.  He moved with his family to Petersburg, ND, where Dominic graduated with the class of 1997 at Dakota Prairie High School.  He then attended Northland Community College.  Dominic worked at the Grand Forks Air Force Base as a Master Mechanic for 17 years before moving on to a new job, which he was excited about, at Case.  Dominic’s favorite job he ever had was being a dad to his son, Rylan, whom he loved more than anything in the world.  Dominic loved the outdoors, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, exploring nature, fishing, and having Thursday “guys” night with his dad.  He was loved very deeply and will be missed greatly.

Dominic is survived by his parents, Keith and Cynthia Westerfield of Petersburg, ND; 1 brother, Eli (Beth) Westerfield of Fargo, ND; a son, Rylan Anthony Westerfield; and also his two best friends, Sadie & Chevy.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, ND, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Donations can be made to the Grand Forks Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
