Curtis Olson Obituary

Curtis Lee Olson, age 69, resident of McVille, ND died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at his home.

Curtis was born March 7, 1950 in McVille, the son of George and Jervis (Ensrud) Olson. He graduated from McVille High School, and entered the United States Army March, 9, 1970. Curtis served in Vietnam where he earned a Bronze Star for heroism along with many other medals. After his military service, he worked construction.

While living in Pennsylvania, Curtis enjoyed flea markets and collecting baseball cards and other baseball memorabilia. After moving back to North Dakota, he enjoyed the casino and playing poker.

Curtis is survived by his son Matthew Olson of Pine Grove, PA, brother Brad (Crystal) Olson of McVille, grandsons Sven and Connor of Pennsylvania, nephew Trevor of Grand Forks, and nieces Tegan and Ashley Olson both of Pennsylvania.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronnie, and sister Vicki.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at McVille Cemetery, McVille, ND
