Thoris Huso

February 10, 1927 – September 21, 2009

Thoris passed away in his home surrounded by his children and grandchildren on September 21, 2009 at the age of 82. Thoris was preceded in death by Joyce, his bride of 53 years, his parents Adolph and Minnie Huso (Hansen), 3 brothers, Herlof, Olger and Maurice, 1 grandchild Louise, and 2 infant grandchildren.

He is survived by his sister Alpha Voiles of Aneta, ND, his four children, Deanne (Stuart Glover) Weeki Wachee, FL., Brian ( Judy Annin ) Billings, MT, Aileen (Edward Stallman) Grand Forks, ND, Jason (Dawn Huso) Maplewood, MN, 9 grandchildren; Chris, Teresa, Jesse, Brent, Aubree, Meghan, Olivia, Grant, Eric, and 1 great grandchild; Jackson.

Thoris was born on February 10 th, 1927 in Aneta, ND. He grew up in Aneta, attended grade school in the one room school house near his home, graduated from Aneta High School, served in the US Army during WWII, graduated from North Dakota State University, farmed at Aneta for many years, was a sales representative for EEE Inc. of Page, ND. and then co-founded Aneta Technologies. Thoris was active in his community and was willing to serve in any capacity where help was needed.

The memorial service will be held at Sundahl Luthern church in Aneta, ND at 2:00 pm Friday September 25 th.. Arrangements by Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home.
