Myron
Oscar Solberg, age 69, resident of Aneta, ND, died Saturday,
May 8, 2010 at the Nelson County Health System – Hospital
in McVille, ND.
Myron
was born February 24, 1941 in McVille, ND, the son of
Oscar L. and Millie (Aaker) Solberg. He grew up and
attended school near Aneta, and was baptized and confirmed
in the East Norway Church of rural Aneta. Myron farmed
and raised livestock his whole life. He also took care
of the East Norway Cemetery for many years.
Myron
was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving
family members include his brother Lavane of Aneta,
ND, and several cousins and friends.
Myron
was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral
services for Myron will be held Wednesday,
May 12, 2010
at 2:30
PM in
the Sundahl
Lutheran
Church,
Aneta,
ND.
Visitation will be held Tuesday,
May 11, 2010
from 4:00
PM – 7:00 PM
with a 7:00
PM prayer
service in the Stanley Iverson Funeral Home, and one
hour prior to services at the church. Interment will
be in the East
Norway
Cemetery,
rural Aneta,
ND.
