Margaret
“Peggy” Ulvog, age 91, resident of Aneta, ND passed
away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Northwood Deaconess
Health Center in Northwood, ND.
Peggy
was born in Southampton , England on December 27, 1919.
She came to the United States with her parents Robert
and Frances (Messinger) Rupp in 1921. They lived in
Mississippi and the Panama Canal Zone during her early
years. She graduated from Ocean Springs High School
in 1939. She belonged to the United Methodist Church
in Biloxi, MS. She joined the Order of the Eastern Star,
Adah Chapter #49 in Ocean Springs, MS in 1940 and has
been a member ever since. She met Adrian Ulvog in Biloxi
in 1974. She came to North Dakota in 1975 and they were
married July 11, 1975. She joined Sundahl Lutheran Church
and was an active WELCA member. She enjoyed visitations
at various churches, including a trip to Mesa, AZ with
the Lutheran Lay Renewal. Peggy liked crocheting and
made many beautiful pieces, most of which she gave away.
She had been in the Northwood Deaconess Health Center
since March 2003. Most of Peggy's problems were a result
of an accident she had while in high school. She was
injured which resulted in her epileptic condition. She
suffered many falls as a result.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, sister Pauline
and nephew Robert.
She
is survived by her husband Adrian “Chuck” Ulvog of Aneta,
ND; one niece, three step children, 10 step grandchildren
and 14 step great grandchildren.
Funeral
services will be Monday,
February 21, 2011
at 11:00
AM in
the Sundahl
Lutheran
Church,
Aneta,
ND.
Visitation will be Sunday,
February 20, 2011
from 3PM
to 7PM
in the
Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home, McVille,
ND.
Interment will be in the spring at the North
Dakota Veterans
Cemetery,
Mandan,
ND.
