Loyle Opsahl, age 68, resident of McVille , ND , formerly Mesa , AZ passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Altru Health System in Grand Forks , ND . Loyle was born August 7, 1939 in McVille , ND the son of George and Myrtle (Stenslie) Opsahl. He grew up and was educated in McVille , ND . Loyle entered the United States Navy in 1957. He returned to McVille for a short time before moving to Arizona where he married Theresa Ruiz in 1960. In 1982 he married Doris Sternberg in SD. Loyle moved back to McVille in 2003.

Surviving members of the family are 3 daughters, Theresa Ann, Barbara and Christina; one son Christopher; 2 brothers, Wayne of McVille, ND and Merlyn (Olga) of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 aunts, Doris Talyor of McVille, ND and Alma Stenslie of Detroit Lakes, MN.; along with several cousins.

Loyle was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Wanda Davis.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the McVille Lutheran Church of McVille. Interment will be in the spring at the McVille Cemetery . Arrangements with the Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home of McVille , ND .
