Lloyd Orin Naas, age 85, resident of McVille , ND went to see the Lord on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 .

Lloyd was born May 24, 1924 in Highwood , MN the son of Oscar and Selma (Tollefson) Naas. In his early childhood, he moved with his family to rural Kloten , ND . He attended Kloten School and was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Lloyd farmed with his father Oscar Naas and brother Ardell Naas. After retirement he continued to live on the family farm. He enjoyed holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, and summer family vacations. His hobbies included tinkering with wind mills, planting trees, farming, bowling, music, weather, and current events.

Lloyd is survived by one brother-in-law Arthur Leum of Belgrade, MT; one sister-in-law Mavis Naas of Kloten, ND; three nieces Sherry (Jeff) Karn, Jodi (Paul) Myrvik and Pepper (Jeff) Lippert; six nephews Larry Leum, Wesley (Diane) Leum, Barry Leum, Shawn (Kim) Naas, Shane (Michelle) Leum, and Kevin Naas, along with many great and great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Virgil, Orville, and Ardell; two sisters Hazel Leum and Shirley Naas.

Funeral services will be Sunday November 29, 2009 at 2:30 pm in Our Savior's Lutheran Church , rural Kloten. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Saturday November 28, 2009 at the Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home in McVille, ND, and continue one hour prior to the services at the church.   Officiating will be Reverend Jessica Merchant.   Organist will be Mary Lou Krogh.  Casketbearers will be Lloyd's nieces and nephews.  Interment will be in Our Savior's Church Cemetery . Arrangements with the Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home.
