Lillian J. Gronaas, 84, of McVille , ND died Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Nelson County Health System Care Center in McVille.

Lillian Jeannette Erickson was born on April 16, 1923 in McVille to Andrew and Alma (Boostrom) Erickson. She grew up in rural McVille and lived in the area most of her life. She married Minruh Gronaas on November 30, 1941 .

She is survived by daughters Kathy (Clayton) Ward and Audrey (Marlin) Reinhart both of McVille; twin sister, Lois Schiller of McVille; and sister, Avis (Robert) Frigaard of Roseville MN; eight grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Minruh, and daughter, Annette Hebbelman.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, at 11:00 a.m. in the McVille Lutheran Church.  Officiating will be Reverend Darrel Cory and Reverend Lynn Kinneberg.  Organist will be Kay Moon.  Casketbearers will be Clayton Ward, Marlin Reinhart, Mark Reinhart, Andrew Hebbelman, Jack Haines and Brad Parks.  Visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home and continue one hour prior to services in the church.
