Larry Christenson, age 67, resident of McVille , ND passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Nelson County Health System – Care Center in McVille.

Larry was born May 22, 1941 in McVille the son of George and Florence (Magnuson) Christenson. He grew up and attended country school in the McVille area. Larry spent his entire life in the McVille area, helping his father and uncles on the farm. In July of 2000 he entered the Nelson County Health System – Care Center .

Larry is survived by his 2 sisters, Gloria Bakstad of McVille , ND and Lorrene Hedde of Reynolds , ND ; along with one niece and several nephews and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Marion Mathison, one nephew Kenneth Bakstad, brother-in-law Arnold Mathison and brother-in-law Earl Hedde.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the New Luther Valley Lutheran Church in McVille , ND . Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in the spring at the Norway Cemetery , rural McVille , ND . Arrangements with the Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home.
