Julius
M. "J.M." Lee, age 92, resident of Aneta, ND, died Tuesday,
August 7, 2007 at the Aneta Parkview Health Center in Aneta.
Julius
Morris Lee was born March 28, 1915 on his parents farm in
Ora Township of Nelson County, ND. He is the son of Martin
S. and Emma B. (Nelson) Lee. Julius was educated in Aneta,
graduating from Aneta High School in 1933. He then began working
for the Standard Oil Dealer in Aneta. J.M. married Tilda Franklin
in July of 1936. They farmed in the Aneta area. In 1943 he
became the Standard Oil Agent, and took over operation of
the business. J.M. retired from Standard Oil in 1976. They
continued farming until he retired from farming in 1997.

is survived by his wife, Tilda Lee of Aneta; 3 children, Richard
Lee of Washington D.C., Julianne Lee of Fargo, ND, and Paul
Lee of Aneta; and a brother, Elwood Lee of Eagle Point, OR
.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Samuel,
Howard, Gordon, and Myron; a sister, Irene; and a son, Terry.
J.M.'s
Funeral Service will be held at the Aneta Community Church
on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be
the Reverend Kenneth Iverson. Music will be provided by Allen
and Judy Rusten. Interment will be in the Silent Hill Cemetery,
rural Aneta. Casketbearers will be Robert Retzlaff, Gene Gehrke,
Charles Gehrke, Myron Ham, Alan Stone, and Jim Kleven. Honorary
bearers will be J.M's friends and nephews. Visitation will
be held at the church on Friday, from 1:00 p.m. until the
time of service.
