John H. Kubesh, age 96, resident of Aneta, ND, formerly of Michigan, ND, died Friday, June 4, 2010 at Aneta Parkview Health Center in Aneta, ND.

John was born July 24, 1913 at McVille, ND to John and Barbara (Cervenka) Kubesh, and was raised and attended school in the area. He married Agnes Normark on July 3, 1942. The couple lived in Grand Forks for many years before retiring to Michigan in 1979. Agnes died March 25, 1994. John spent recent years at the Odd Fellows Basic Care Facility in Devils Lake, ND and Aneta Parkview Health Center.

John was preceded in death by his parents, wife Agnes, daughter Barbara, son Eugene, and siblings Peter, Paul, Marie, Frank, Joe, and Helen.

A committal service for John will be held in the Michigan Cemetery, Michigan, ND at 9:00 AM on Friday, June 11, 2010.
