Jerome
Krogh, age 83, resident of McVille, ND passed away Sunday,
April 3, 2011 at the Nelson County Health System – Care
Center in McVille.
Jerome
was born in McVille on May 11, 1927 to John and Anna
(Ringdahl) Krogh. He attended country school in Field
Township and graduated McVille High School in 1945.
He entered the United States Army on February 27, 1946
and was discharged on September 4, 1947. Jerome received
a bachelor of science in commerce from the University
of North Dakota. He later managed a service station
in Mayville, ND for a short time before returning to
McVille to farm with his father. Jerome married Mary
Lou Semler on May 29, 1965. Jerome was an active member
on the elevator board, township board, church and cemetery
boards, a charter member of the McVille bowling alley
and a partner in the McVille State Bank.
Jerome
will be missed and remembered by his wife Mary Lou of
McVille, ND and several cousins.
He
was preceded in death by his parents and brother Vernon.
Funeral services
for Jerome will be Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 11:00
AM in Our Saviors Lutheran Church in rural Kloten, ND.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the
church. Military honors by the Ole Semling American
Legion Post #135. Interment will be in the spring at
Our Saviors Cemetery.
