Agnes
Kueber, our beloved Mother, left her earthly family to join
her heavenly family November 11, 2007. Born to Gunder and
Anne Lian in Sharon, ND on April 29, 1914, Agnes Gudrun Lian
(known as Aggie) was the fifth of a family of ten children.
She grew up in Aneta and graduated from Aneta High School.
In
1933 she married Al Kueber. They made their home and raised
their family on a farm northeast of Aneta. She was an active
member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Ladies' Guild
and Rugh Township Homemakers until they moved to Oceanside,
CA in 1964. There, she became a member of St. Francis Church
and later St. Margaret's Catholic Church where she was very
active in the Ladies' Guild. She enjoyed playing cards, puttering
in the garden, crafts, swimming and always helping others.
Her greatest enjoyment in life, however, was time spent with
family and friends.
Many
ND friends visited while she lived in CA. She returned to
her roots when she entered the Aneta Parkview Health Center,
November 29, 2001 where she spent and enjoyed her remaining
years.
