In Loving Memory...

Agnes G. Kueber

Agnes Kueber, our beloved Mother, left her earthly family to join her heavenly family November 11, 2007. Born to Gunder and Anne Lian in Sharon, ND on April 29, 1914, Agnes Gudrun Lian (known as Aggie) was the fifth of a family of ten children. She grew up in Aneta and graduated from Aneta High School.

In 1933 she married Al Kueber. They made their home and raised their family on a farm northeast of Aneta. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Ladies' Guild and Rugh Township Homemakers until they moved to Oceanside, CA in 1964. There, she became a member of St. Francis Church and later St. Margaret's Catholic Church where she was very active in the Ladies' Guild. She enjoyed playing cards, puttering in the garden, crafts, swimming and always helping others. Her greatest enjoyment in life, however, was time spent with family and friends.

Many ND friends visited while she lived in CA. She returned to her roots when she entered the Aneta Parkview Health Center, November 29, 2001 where she spent and enjoyed her remaining years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her brothers and sisters, her husband Al, her son Bernard (Sunny), and her grandson Michael Rocheleau.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Esther Kueber of Aneta, ND; sons Alyn (Jerry)/Gloria of Park Rapids, MN; Donald/Katy of Vista, CA; Richard (Dick)/Marlys of Crystal Lake, IL; and Robert of Spring Valley, CA ; her daughters Mary Anne/Bob Laughlin of Elizabethtown, KY and Alice/Al Rocheleau of Oceanside, CA; 24 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Rosary, visitation, and viewing will be Wednesday, November 14 at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aneta.

A Funeral Mass will be held to celebrate her life Thursday, November 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aneta with Reverend Father Richard Fineo officiating, followed by burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Viewing will be 30 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass.

Pall Bearers will be Mark, Greg and Kelly Kueber; Tony, and Andy Kueber; Pam Kueber-Fisher, Rick Kueber and Jenni Kinkead; Tim Merrill and Angie Rio; and Cindy Donohue. Honorary pallbearers are all grandchildren unable to attend.

Aggie requested in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Red River Valley or Aneta Parkview Health Center .

Aggie will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends.

Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home of McVille assisted the family with arrangements.
