Lyle Glenn Pittenger, age 62, resident of Jamestown, ND formerly Cooperstown, ND passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at his residence in Jamestown.

Lyle was born April 25, 1947 in Cooperstown, ND the son of Helmer and Evelyn (Larson) Pittenger.

Lyle is survived by his daughter Amy (Patrick Gleason) Pittenger of Bloomington, MN; son Tim (Jennifer) Pittenger of Bismarck, ND; 4 grandchildren, Samuel, Sophia, Crist and Cade; 3 sisters, Darlene (Andy) Miller of Valley City, ND, Janice (Jon) Hanenberg of Sanborn, ND and Diane (Paul) Adrian of Binford, ND; 2 brothers, Orville (Avis) of Binford, ND and Bud (Bonnie) of Cooperstown; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Jeanette, 2 brothers, Lloyd and LeRoy.

Memorial services will be Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 1:00PM in the Trinity Lutheran Church , Cooperstown, ND .   Officiating will be Reverend Jessica Merchant.  Organist will be Kathy Soma-Gawronski.  Soloist will be Paul Adrian.  Interment will be in the West Prairie Cemetery, rural Binford, ND.
