Paul C. Anderson, age 58, resident of Edmore, ND, died suddenly Wednesday morning August 6, 2008 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Paul Claire Anderson was born October 19, 1949 at Devils Lake, ND, the son of Lloyd and Alvida (Elshaug) Anderson. He was raised on his parents farm and graduated from Edmore High School in 1967. He then attended Mayville State University. Upon completing his education, Paul returned home to farm with his father. He lived and farmed all of his life in the Edmore area. He retired from farming in 1996. He then helped other area farmers with their work. Paul enjoyed watching all different kinds of sports, and loved to be with his pets. He was a collector of toy farm machinery and sports memorabilia.

Paul is survived by his mother, Alvida Anderson of Fargo, ND; 2 sisters, Pauline & her husband Keith Mack of Langdon, ND and Audrey & her husband Mark Erickson of West Fargo, ND; and 5 nieces, Rachelle (Mack) Fetsch & her husband Nic, Sarah Mack, Breanna Mack, Morgan Erickson, and Ava Erickson.

He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd in 1994.

Paul's Funeral Service will be held at the Concordia Lutheran Church of Edmore on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Reverend Don Reynolds. Music will be provided by Pamela Landsem. Interment will be in the St. Hans Cemetery, rural Edmore. Casketbearers will be Curtis Myhre, Curtis Landsem, Roger Nygaard, Danny Anderson, Roman Rubbelke, and Norris Elshaug. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
