Lyle Duane Sundeen, age 81, of Brocket, ND passed away peacefully Friday morning, December 30, 2011 at his home surrounded by family.

Lyle was born March 4, 1930 in rural Brocket to Louis and Emma ( Anderson ) Sundeen. He married Della Johnson on May 27, 1951 celebrating their 60 th anniversary in 2011. They made their home north of Brocket and resided there until present. Lyle farmed with his father and two sons and grandchildren. Lyle enjoyed his farming, custom combining, fishing, antique tractors and his life surrounded by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his wife Della.

Lyle is survived by his wife Della; sons Kent (Kathy) Sundeen, Randall (Joanne) Sundeen and Baird Sundeen; grandchildren Brandon (Michelle), Keri (Scott) Schmidt, Preston (Cassandra), Austin (Kristie) and Ashley; great grandchildren Devan, Braydon, Grace, Landon, Kelby, Kate, Jenna, Conner and Alexandria; sister Karen (Jim) Kloster; and brother Roger (Karen) Sundeen.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; children Robert and Leanne.

Memorial Services for Lyle will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the United Lutheran Church, Brocket, ND. Visitation will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home, Lakota, ND on Monday beginning at 4:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Interment will be in the Hoff Cemetery, Brocket, ND.
