Ivernon G. Moen, age 81, resident of Michigan , ND, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at his home in Michigan .

Ivernon Gorden Moen was born December 12, 1928 at rural Fordville , ND , the son of Thorbin and Mary (Johnson) Moen.

He is survived by his wife, Janette Moen of Michigan, ND; 4 children, Marilyn (Steve) Juel of Harrisburg, SD, Kim (Paul) Gibree of Grand Forks, ND, Karla Stegman of Thompson, ND, and Scott Moen of Bottineau, ND; 5 step-children, Ellen (Paul) Ringdahl of Michigan, ND, Colleen (Roger) Waltz of Langdon, ND, Vicki (Peter) Basley of Bass Harbor, ME, Joe Hamre of Carbondale, CO, and Denise Huggins of Valley City, ND; 10 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Irene Hansen of Seal Beach, CA, Mildred Bruce of Fargo, ND, and Darlene (Carroll) Koenig of Billings, MT.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Virginia; 2 brothers, Thelman & Duane; and 1 sister, Alida Jonguard.

The Memorial Service for Ivernon will be held at the Michigan Lutheran Church, Michigan, ND, on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Reverend Sue Mackey. Music will be provided by Jason Flom. Interment will be in the Quale Lutheran Church Cemetery , rural Fordville.
