Alice A. Bosh, age 60, resident of rural Lawton, ND, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007 at her home.

Alice Ann Bagne was born June 27, 1947 in Fargo, ND, the daughter of Henry and Helmi (Raketti) Bagne. She was raised on a farm south of Lakota and attended school in the area. She moved to Moorhead, MN in 1956. She attended school there and began her high school years at Oak Grove High School in Fargo. In 1962 she moved back to rural Lakota and graduated from Lakota High School in 1965. She also attended Concordia College in Moorhead. Helmi passed away June 24, 1965 and Henry married Doris Stefonowicz on September 29, 1967. Alice married Larry Bosh on January 28, 1967 in Lakota. They lived in Fargo for a year before moving to their current farmstead. She helped Larry with their farming operation and she worked many years at the Lakota Good Samaritan Center as a CNA and CMA until her health forced her to retire in 2005. Alice passionately enjoyed reading, visiting, having coffee with her friends, and gardening. She was a member of United Lutheran Church in Brocket and of the WELCA group for many years. The greatest joys in her life were her grandchildren and coffee friends.

Alice was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her husband, Larry Bosh of rural Lawton; 3 children, Teresa (Ken) Denman of Grand Forks, ND, Michael (Pam) Bosh of Minot, ND, and Christopher Bosh of Grand Forks, ND; 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Joseph, Joshua, Emily, Noah, Elijah, and Elizabeth; step-mother, Doris Bagne of Lakota; brother, Malcolm (Mary) Bagne of Lakota; sister-in-law, Elaine (Dennis) Lovcik of Pisek, ND; brother-in-law, Danny Bosh of Grand Forks; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-brother, Stephen Stefonowicz.

Alice's Funeral Service will be held at the Lakota Lutheran Church on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Reverend Joel Westby. The organist will be Karen Fowler, special music will be provided by Michael & Rebecca Raber. Interment will be in the Lakota Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Brady Holm, Brennan Holm, Bryce Holm, Marc Dusek, Brent Dusek, Nicholas Dusek, and Corey Gannarelli. Honorary bearers will be Benjamin Decker, Casey Conway, Colin Conway, and Caleb Dusek. Visitation will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota on Sunday, August 5, 2007 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
