Adeline M. Danielson, age 87, resident of Edmore , ND , died Monday, May 4, 2009 at First Care Health Center in Park River , ND .

Adeline Mae Ivesdal was born August 20, 1921 at Derrick , ND , the daughter of Gust and Lila (Larson) Ivesdal. She was raised on her parents farm near Derrick and attended school in Derrick and Prospect Township . Adeline married Martin Danielson on September 28, 1943 at Devils Lake , ND . They lived in Devils Lake for two years, then lived and farmed near Edmore. Adeline loved to work with ceramics and attend craft shows in her younger years. She was known for her crocheted doilies and needlework. They retired from farming in 1987 and moved into Edmore in 1993. Martin died November 11, 1993 . Adeline was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church , Ladies Aid, and the Edmore Senior Citizens. Her family loved her potato dumplings, homemade buns & lefse.

Adeline will be deeply missed by her family, which includes 1 daughter, Tracey (Jerry) Frame of Lancaster, MN; 3 sons, David (Judy) Danielson of Port Arthur, TX, Wayne (Kim) Danielson of Fargo, ND, and Kevin (Cindy) Danielson of Grand Forks, ND; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law, Helen Novacek and Olive Ivesdal, both of Edmore.

She was preceded in death by her husband and 3 brothers, Selmer, Reuben, and Arnold.

Adeline's Funeral Service will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church of Edmore on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.   Officiating will be the Reverend Don Reynolds.  Interment will be in the spring at the Edmore Cemetery . Visitation will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota, ND, on Friday, May 8, 2009 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
